The Holidays are Over and Sick Just Got Real™ ( + Giveaway)

The holidays may be over, but sick season has just begun. Holiday travel, seems to spread germs at a rapid rate this time of year. Family get-togethers, holiday parties, stuffy planes, and then the kids head back to school to spread the "love" even further. When sick gets real in our house rely on Pfizer pediatric products (Children’s Advil®, Children’s Robitussin®, Children’s Dimetapp®) to relieve the fevers, coughs, and colds and get my kids back to themselves.

When sick gets real we turn to symptom relief, but our first line of defense is always to prevent illness. Before they returned to school we reminded our children of the do's and don'ts of the cold and flu season. This tips are useful to all, whether returning to school, work, or just out with the public this post holiday season.

Do Practice Healthy Habits
A stronger immune system well help fend off or lesson the duration of symptoms. Fatigue, stress, and poor diet etc. all take a toll on the immune system. Stay well rested. Manage stress, exercise, and eat a well-balanced diet.

Do. Wash'em Often. Wash'em Good.
Moms preach it often and with good reason. Washing your hands often is the number 1 way to help prevent the spread of all kinds of sicknesses. Everything you touch can potentially be contaminated with a cold or flu bug. So wash your hands often with warm water and plain soap.

Don’t be that Sick Guy (or girl)
If you’re sick stay home. If the kids are sick keep them home. You’ll not only get better faster by taking the time off to rest, but you won’t be putting anyone else at risk either. A cold maybe just that to you, but it can cause major complication for someone with a compromised immune system.

Don’t be Touchy!
Keep your hands away from your eyes, nose and mouth. It’s through these areas that germs love to enter.

Stay well this winter and remember that when sick gets real for your little ones Pfizer pediatric products can help provide relief, getting them back their normal fun-loving selves sooner.

Enter to win! Enter now for your chance to win a winter relief prize pack including:
