Keep Warm With The Honeywell HeatGenius™ Ceramic Heater

Moving from Florida to Minnesota was a real shock to the system, even more so now that we have reached bitterly cold, negative temperatures. Fortunately, our home heats pretty well, but not equally. While the bedrooms and family room stay very warm, the living room and kitchen hold a chill. This is where our Honeywell NEW Honeywell HeatGenius™ Ceramic Heater comes in.

The Honeywell HeatGenius™ Ceramic Heater makes customized heating a breeze with 6 heat settings that give the user total control of their comfort. Our living room draft comes from the door and with hardwoods things can get cold down there. That’s why I love the intelligent and powerful ceramic heating capabilities which allow you to direct heat to the floor, yourself, or the entire room with a simple push of a button.

My biggest concern with any portable heater however is safety, especially with 5 children in the home. The reason I went with the Honeywell HeatGenius Ceramic Heater was due to its multiple tried and tested safety features including:

  • Tip-Over Safety Switch –this feature is designed to automatically shut the unit off in the event that it is tipped over.
  • Overheat Protection – built-in sensor and fuse that ensures the heater will shut down if it exceeds temperature limits.
  • Flame-Resistant Materials – critical materials used in the construction of the heaters' sleek designs are selected based on precise engineering test specifications for heat tolerance.
  • Caution Lights – LED lights featured on the easy-to-use controls alert you when the heater is turned on.
  • Protected wiring and enhanced connections – designed to last longer and withstand electrical irregularities.
Having a portable heating option can also be cost efficient, because they heat the room you are in as opposed to the whole house. This allows me to turn the thermostat down a few degrees in turn saving me money over the course of the winter.

If you’re looking for a heating option with safety and function in mind, like quiet mode, which combines gentle “white noise” with soothing warmth and HeatPhase Timer, then the Honeywell HeatGenius™ Ceramic Heater is for you.

Find it online at and at local retailers such as Walmart for the MSRP of $69.99

This would be nice to have so our electricity bill isn't so high during the winter months.
