Holiday Gift Guide: Build & Imagine StoryWalls

When it comes to Christmas gifts, many kids will find themselves sharing in the creativity of a building set. This year I say go above and beyond the traditional with Build & Imagine, colorfully illustrated magnetic building sets, StoryWalls.

Product(s) received for review. All opinions are my own and were in no way influenced.

Last year my daughter was first introduced to StoryWalls, receiving the Day at the Beach Set and the Fairytale Theatre. I immediately noticed an empowering difference between this playset and your typical building set, or even dollhouse. But I noticed the real difference months later when she was still enjoy StoryWalls almost daily.

Build N Imagine Beach House

Build & Imagine StoryWalls combines limitless imagination and creativity. In a time when my daughter is most flip floppy when it comes to toys, StoryWalls have been playset she continues to turn to. Each Build & Imagine StoryWalls playset is made of colorfully illustrated magnetic panels that a child joins together any way she (or he) likes. This allows your child to construct a scene inspired by their own imagination without a ton of little pieces to lose, or worse step on! Each set is also complete with the little touches; wooden dolls, magnetic costumes and props. I believe that it is exactly this open-ended play, which allows a child to build and create different scenes and adventure every time they open that StoryWalls box, that keeps them engaged well-beyond the first day or week.

Just in time for the holidays we had the opportunity to check out Malia's House, an award winning dollhouse kids design themselves with Build N Imagine Magnetic StoryWalls. And one of the best things about these set is you can mix and match, combining StoryWalls sets for unlimited imaginative and role-playing fun!

Malia's House, keeps the same focus of empowering children to build customized scenes that spark storytelling. Equipped with customizable illustrated story board panels, 2 wooden characters, and dozens of magnetic props. Every time you venture to Malia's House you never know just what you'll find or how it will be designed, since StoryWalls allow you to create a different setup every-time you play. This isn't your standard dollhouse. It's a dollhouse built from your child's imagination!

As a parent I love everything StoryWalls instills in my child. I love to watch my daughter's imagination and stories come to life. I enjoy seeing her commitment to building her “scenes” and how engaged she becomes bringing it all to life. StoryWalls truly inspire storytelling through creativity!

You can find award winning Build & Imagine StoryWalls at as well as retailers such as: Amazon, Kohl’s, Fat Brain Toys, & Zulily.

I love the open endedness of these magnet type playsets. This one looks especially fun for little girls.

How cool! I, too, love toys that provide open-ended play and require creative problem solving. Besides, these just look like plain fun. I like that the houses can be different each time you play with them. I know our daughter would love these, too!
