The Bialetti Pasta Pot Review + Giveaway #bialetticookware

Cook, strain, and prepare all in one pot, with the Bialetti Pasta Pot! While home cooked meals and family dinners are important to us, a busy back-to-school season is right around the corner leaving me with less time to spend in the kitchen, cooking and preparing meals.

The Bialetti Pasta Pot is a must have in any kitchen. The innovative design features a lock-on lid with a built-in strainer, ideal for more than just pasta. I  make a lot of drain and prepare meals. Whether it be veggies or spaghetti night, my biggest obstacle is getting a boiling hot pot, with the added weight of water and ingredients, and often with handles hot to the touch, over to the sink and flipped over into the strainer. With the Bialetti Pasta Pot, however, I simply lock on the lid, drain, and prepare!

What I love about this pot is the ease of use. No extra dishes to clean and no juggling of the pot to the strainer. I just lock and flip. The handles are also perfectly paired to the pot. A lot of my pots handles extend out too far leaving medal exposed, which easily heats up. Even with plastic handle covers, when I try to to strain the excess water that hot medal usually connects with my hand or arm. Not so with the Bialetti Pasta Pot. It's constructed with a lightweight aluminum and nonstick interior. This makes it easy to clean, and easy to lift and strain.

Last night I made Tortellini Alfredo and it was a breeze. And even better, I was left with just one pot to clean. Boil, strain, prepare, and stored all in a single pot! Leaving me more time for family and less time cleaning up. Tonight, I am preparing lasagna and am looking forward to perfectly prepared, unbroken noodles, thanks to the pots oblique shape.

This pot is great for just about anything from soups to rice and seafood. Rice is always the ultimate test for me with any new pot. I found this pot to heat evenly and cook without sticking. It's also an added bonus that you can cook with the lid on, since the holes allow the steam to escape leaving me without those boil over messes that I can never seem to avoid... until now.

The Bialetti Pasta Pot is Available in red, black, purple, and orange, suitable for any kitchen decor, for an MSRP of $34.95; available at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Amazon.com and Bialetti.com.

Win It: One lucky reader will win a Bialetti Pasta Pot! Thanks Bialetti!
