Focus on Moments that Matter with Canon #BestBuyTechHome

Last week I had the exciting opportunity to check out the latest in home technology at the Best Buy Tech Home in the Mall of America. Here you can take a tour with an expert Blue Shirt or Geek Squad Agent, touching and trying the latest technology products in a homelike environment. I was amazed at how far technology has really come, but what was even more exciting about the tech home, is there really is something for everyone. And while I was extremely impressed by the Samsung Smart Refrigerator and much more, my interest was further piqued when we reached the Canon display.

As a parent, my technology focus is heavy in photography, memory sharing, and the latest computer accessories for school and work. At the Best Buy Tech Home you can experience how Canon technologies can help create inspired connections that allow you and your families to focus on moments that matter. My favorite of the Canon technologies featured? The Canon Connect Station CS100, which stores up to 150,000 photos or 70 hours of videos.

I don’t know about yours, but my computers storage is bursting with photos and video memories. Digital photos that I meant to share, or print. Old family photos that I scanned in for storage and videos of my children’s first. At the tech home I found the solution to my problems in The Canon Connect Station, your go-to photo and video hub. Here you can share, store, view and manage all those memories wirelessly! This means in this day and age of smartphones, you have the smart technology to match. Download your memories to the Connect Station CS100 via the mobile app, through SD/CF card slots, web browser, or if you really want, you can still transfer via USB. It also works with NFC-equipped Canon cameras or camcorders, transferring your photos and videos to the CS100 with simply a tap!

With the Connect Station you’ll share like never before, seamlessly posting to social media or even showing off those memories on your HDTV with just an HDMI cable. This is simply a must have for any family who loves creating and sharing memories.

If you want to learn more about the latest Canon technologies like the CS100, Canon EOS Rebel T6i with EF-S 18-55mm IS STM Lens and more, and will be in the Bloomington, Minnesota area, check out the Best Buy Tech Home open until 9/17. While you’re there don’t forget to learn how you could win a $10,000 Best Buy Gift Card, a Samsung SmartThings Smart Home Collection, Samsung Dream Kitchen, and a Samsung 55” SUHD 4K TV and more. Additionally, if you are one of the first 250 to visit the Tech Home at the Mall of America each day from 8/22-9/17 you could win one of many prizes made with Qualcomm technologies like Sonos Play:1 speakers or Samsung Gear S2.
