Back to school. When that phrase is read I’m sure we all have many different thoughts and emotions. For me, when I see the words “back to school”, all I can think of is back to germs! We live in different times and there are a lot of harsh cleaners out there that claim to quickly kill bacteria and remove grim from surfaces. But what if I want a healthier option for my family? What if I want to really clean without chemical residues or harsh odors in the air?
While the chemicals in cleaners foam, bleach and disinfect to make our dishes, bathtubs, and countertops gleaming and germ-free, many also contribute to indoor air pollution, are poisonous if ingested and can be harmful if inhaled or touches. In fact, some cleaners are among the most toxic products found in a home.- Organic Consumers Association

With a little guy about the house, and always playing on the floor, that is where my biggest concern lies. Tackling any potential bacteria on my floors and keeping them free of dirt and grime. To do this we’ve been using the Chemical-free Cleaning Deep Clean Mop ($39.99).

I was impressed with how well it cleaned and even more impressed with how it left me feeling. Our entire home is basically made up of tile, wood, or laminate flooring. Whether it be the kids or a pet, someone is walking over the wet chemical residue I typically push around with a mop, thinking it’s needed to get the floor truly clean. With the Chemical Free Seep Clean Mop, I'm left without worry and clean floors.
For my kitchen and bathroom needs I went with the Chemical-free Cleaning Home Starter Kit ($19.99). The Chemical-free Cleaning Home Starter Kit includes the three core cloths to clean the major surfaces in the home without chemicals using just water - Bathroom Cloth, General Purpose Cloth, and Glass & Polishing Cloth.
In the bathroom is were I would usually pullout the bleach and leave myself feeling light headed and sometimes with raw fingertips when I wasn’t using the proper protection on my hands. What was I thinking? With e-cloth there is no smell, no hazard. Just a clean kitchen and bathroom. Each cloth is also labeled for use on their tag so you don't mix them up.

The e-cloth® line cleans great and is proven to remove bacteria. Clinically tested they remove over 99% of bacteria, including E.coli and Listeria from hard surface using only water.
The Baby Care by e-cloth® line is cost effective as well. To use them you simple wet, ring and wipe, but you certainly don’t throw it our when you’re done. Toss your e-cloth in the washer regularly, in hot water, or boil in a saucepan. They will be just as clean and effective for next use. Are you worried about transfer of dirt and bacteria that you hear about when using cloth? I was too, but after just a hot rinse under the faucet, the rate of bacteria transfer from one surface to another is just 0.01%
