Achieving Total Wellness #NaturesMade #IC (Giveaway)

“This post was sponsored by Nature Made® as a part of a Blog Blast for Influence Central.”

Wellness

As a parent, my children come first. This year I stepped back and realized, while they will always come first, I need to be in my best health to be there for them. What I needed was to get my own health and wellness in order. One of my first steps toward achieving total wellness was/is getting myself more balanced physically and mentally.

After my annual check-up it was determined I was vitamin deficient in a few areas. I will be the first to admit I often eat on the run, don’t check nutritional content and eat when convenient. I’ve always been so focused on my kids eating well balanced meals and getting their daily supplements that I lost sight of my own wellness.

In rectifying this I’ve started to make sure I have more time. More time to sit and enjoy the balanced meals created for my family, more time to for myself to exercise, rest or reflex – whatever my body needs. I’ve also made sure I am getting my recommended daily allowance of vitamins with the help of Nature Made.

One of my biggest issues, said my doctor, was a vitamin B deficiency. So, I did my research added more foods rich in different forms of vitamin B to my diet and picked up some B vitamins by Nature Made, the nation’s #1 best-selling brand for quality vitamins, minerals and supplements* to help support nutritional gaps.

With so many ways to boost your overall wellness I found starting with a vitamin boost was the way to go for me. Actually, vitamin B6 helps the body turn food into energy, which in turn, I personally felt, helped give me the added boost of energy I needed to get moving and exercising more.

I still have a bit more work to do achieving my total wellness goals, but let this serve as a reminder that to take care of those around us we need to take care of ourselves first. Don’t put of your annual check-up and if vitamins, minerals or supplements are on your list, they don’t have to break the bank. You can find the # 1 Pharmacist recommended supplement brand in 9 categories**, Natures Made at an everyday low price, at your local Walmart.
