Victoria Fine Foods, Where Ingredients Come First (Review + Giveaway)

As a mother to five, I sometimes struggle with dinner. I like to feed my family the best and homemade is often the only way I find that possible. On the other hand, there are many nights I simply can’t find the time. Did you know a jar of marinara sauce can go a long way in creating a delicious and simple meal? The only issue in my opinion, is finding ready-to-eat sauce suitable for my dinner table.

Victoria Fine Foods, is an authentic pasta sauce manufacturer based in Brooklyn, New York. They use a slow, kettle-cooked method to making their sauces, using strictly fresh, realfood/non-GMO ingredients. It's sauce with an authentic homemade taste, so authentic, no one really needs to know you didn’t make it. Do they?

Surprisingly, they were also a company new to me, and boy have I been missing out! Over the past two weeks I've brought three varieties of Victoria pasta sauces to my table and have incorporated it into some of my family's favorite dishes.

Roasted Garlic

Victoria Premium Roasted Garlic Sauce, is made with exactly what is own the label (whole tomatoes, garlic, onions, olive oil, salt, basil and spices) and the taste reflex just that. Have you ever had roasted garlic? This sauce embodies the roasted garlic flavor in every delicious bite.

Fradiavolo

My husband’s favorite, this spicy number kicks up their traditional marinara a notch, with crushed red peppers and just the right amount of sea salt.

Marinara

Victoria’s all natural marinara sauce is prepared with imported Italian tomatoes, fresh onion, fresh garlic, fresh basil and Italian olive oil all slow cooked to homemade perfection. This delicious sauce uses no tomato paste or fillers, and you can tell just by looking at it. The taste is also spot-on. This is a sauce I am comfortable bringing to my table any night of the week and have no problem incorporating into complex favorites and the simple ones, like a cheesy gnocchi bake.

I mentioned earlier that a good ready-to-eat sauce is essential to our meal time during those crazy busy evenings. And so is having a simple recipe to go with that sauce.

In a rush? Try this simple cheesy gnocchi recipe complimented by Victoria Fine Foods, marinara sauce.

What you need:

Prepare your gnocchi; add gnocchi to boiling water for 2-3 minutes or until gnocchi floats to the top. Drain.
