RoomLookz Helping Tweens Go from Drab to Fab (Review + Giveaway)

My daughter, the only girl amongst four brothers. Somedays I think she takes her role as the lone girl a little too serious and everyday it seems like she ages another year. It wasn’t long ago she wanted to trade in her character sheets and sweet posters for something a little more mature. The problem arose trying to find the right décor that said tween, not adult, and not overly childish. And then we were introduced to RoomLookz.

RoomLookz takes on the same mission as LockerLookz, turning drab but necessary spaces (the interior of a school locker) into something trendy with color, patterns, fashion and fun. With RoomLookz, we were able to transform a section of my daughter’s room that was left dismal and without creativity, into something inviting, fun, and bursting with color an inspiration.

Before RoomLookz Additions

RoomLookz offers affordable styling options and fun accessories any girl would love. Candy Dispensers in the prettiest of colors, lamps for that perfect accent, removable and repositionable wall papers, and even acrylic mirrors, caddies, and magnets. Each piece allows tweens to express their individual style and allows them to get creative. You can even design your own room online for added inspiration.

My daughter chose to accent her room with 4 pretty awesome products. The RoomLookz Tabletop LCD Lamp is powered by battery (requires 4 C batteries not included). We love the soft light it emits while providing a touch of glamour. This lamp is available in a variety of colors/styles. She also chose an acrylic mirror and table top caddie in matching styles. The caddie has three compartments, which we though could either hold her hair ties or she could use it to hold pens, pencils etc. things she needs in hand for homework and such. The mirror comes with a stand and is portable for use pretty much anywhere. Lastly she chose a magnetic dry erase board to spruce up her wall and because, honestly, she just finds dry erase boards fun!

Lamp, Mirror and Caddie

Even as a women my bedroom is still one of my most favorite places in my home so it came as no surprise to learn that 75% of tweens polled by RoomLookz said their bedroom is their favorite spot in the house. And with the back to school season in full swing it seems as if my own tween is spending more and more time in her room, working on school projects, reading or simply resting after a busy day. Why not make her space friendly and inspiring? Why not let her show her creative side with RoomLookz?

Room Decor

With the help of RoomLookz we’ve managed to transform my daughter's room into something more pleasant and interesting by just adding a few touches. But my girl has her heart set on adding some more fabulous pieces from RoomLookz, that I happen to think will make a great gift this holiday season. I know it’s only October, but I always have my eyes peeled for products I think will make exceptional gifts, especially for the hard to buy for tween girl!
