Swaddle Your Baby in Comfort with Baby Ota

A baby is born and nearly immediately swaddle tightly into a blanket. Swaddling brings babies comfort, warmth and security. It can also help your baby sleep more soundly by keeping him or her from being disturbed by their own startle reflex. Blanket swaddling has always been pretty popular, at least here in the states, but the blanket coming loose always caused me much worry. There are now many swaddle “sack” options for parents to choose from, but none that seem to compare to my newest discovery The Baby Ota.

Originating in the Czech Republic, what makes the Baby Ota so unique is its sturdy and amazingly plush design. I’m telling you, if I could wrap myself up in the Baby Ota, I would! The Baby Ota, is crafted from an eco-friendly blend of bamboo fiber and hand-selected cotton. Bamboo fiber is much softer than cotton and has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-microbial properties. This cozy fabric has unique effects, which helps keep babies warm in cold weather, yet breathes in warm weather. Just the use of Bamboo fiber is enough to make the Baby Ota stand out, but there is so much more still to love.

Unlike a simple cotton blanket or swaddle sack, Baby Ota is designed to provide a balance of comfort and support. It features removable pillows beneath the machine washable cover that are adjustable to meet your baby’s needs. This extra layer, so to speak, keeps babies head naturally supported and resting securely on their backs. The sack itself has three secure straps that you can adjust to fit properly around the different parts of your baby. So basically, it is fully customizable and able to accommodate infants and babies up to 20 lbs.

Beyond the benefits of The Baby Ota, it's also aesthetically pleasing. It’s simply a beautiful swaddler that I wish I would have had available for my children’s baptism and even a wedding we attended. It has such a simple, yet beautiful look to it.

That is quite beautiful and much different than most swaddlers I've come across. Wow.
