Nenuco and Her Little Sister; Combining Imaginative Play and Sibling Bonding

For six years my daughter reigned as the baby of the house and only girl of three brothers. Through the years, I couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like for her to be a sister. Would her reaction be different to having a sibling then it was with my boys? Would she be a little mommy? Or would she find herself jealous? And then it happened, I found myself pregnant with my fifth (and final) child. When my daughter heard the news she couldn’t have been any happier and was filled with questions like how do you hold a baby? How and what do babies eat, etc.? I took this as the perfect learning opportunity to teach her more about being a big sister through imaginative play with her favorite dolls.

The Nenuco brand, from parent company Famosa, is a Spanish toy company that has crafted high-quality dolls with engaging & unique features for the past 50 years. Of all the dolls in my daughter’s collection none stand out more to her and I, than her Nenuco Sleep with Me Baby Doll & Cradle and the Nenuco Let's Play School doll and playset! In fact, it was her Sleep with Me Baby Doll that she took care off, slept with each night, and learned to cradle gently as she awaited the arrival of her little brother – yes, another boy!

The Nenuco lines newest addition includes Nenuco & Her Little Sister, the perfect companions for your little one to learn all about sibling bonding, or as teaching tool for a little one expecting their first sibling. It also proved to be a wonderful set for my daughter who will never have a little sister any other way then in the form of imaginative play.

My daughter already went to work brushing and styling Big Sisters hair in her own way.
Nenuco & Her Little Sister are of the exceptional quality I’ve come to expect from the Nenuco line, crafted with perfect details and the little extras. The set includes both big and little sister in complimentary outfits. Standing at about 15.5” in height “big sister” has soft blond hair, pink dress and matching hat. “Little Sister”  portrays more of an infant style doll with pink jumper, small head bow, soft body and even a fresh baby scent! It's also hard not to notice their exquisite blue eyes.

As with all Nenuco dolls, this set has only inspired imagination and creativity in my daughter and has helped her build her amazing big sister skills even further.

My granddaughter will be welcoming a new brother of sister this winter. This would make a great birthday present to prepare her. I love this brand of dolls, all the dolls you've featured are so unique what they represent. Great gifts for the little girls.

This is such an amazing doll that any young girl would love to have and play with and learn what it is like to have a real baby. I think it is a great teaching doll and looks so cute.

What a cute little set, my daughter would love this. She carries her dolls everywhere, and she is not even two yet.
