Have a Child in a Car Seat? You Should Have the ChildMinder

It has become far too common to hear stories of infants and children being left behind in a hot car and paying the ultimate price, the loss of life. It’s easy for me to sit here and think “how does this even happen?” “How do you forget your child is in the car with you?” But the reality is, it does happen. I remind myself that as a mother of 5, I often am filled with an overwhelming fear when we leave a store or our home that I’ve forgotten someone. And even go as far as turning around in my seat to take a head count to ease my mind. No, I haven’t ever forgotten anyone, but if my subconscious thinks it’s a possibility, it might be.

The ChildMinder SoftClip® is a lifesaving device that should be on every parent’s must-have list that has a child still in a car seat. What is it? It is a small and simple device that helps prevent that momentary memory laps, one section clips on to the baby (or child’s) cars eat harness and the other side stays with the parent/driver on their keyring. If at any time a parent or caregiver moves more than 15 feet from the child in their car seat. If you've moved out of a 15 foot radius of the child, the ChildMinder system alerts the driver/parent with an alarm in about 8 seconds.

Additional Details:
  • The ChildMinder system performs a self-test upon each use to insure its proper functioning.
  • No removal of safety seat harness straps required for installation. replace your child's safety seat chest harness clip with the ChildMinder's New SoftClip and place the key ring alarm unit on your automotive key ring.
  • The ChildMinders Systems will not compromise the safety nor warranty of your Child Restraint System.

If you will be attending a shower or know a new parent, think about giving the gift of safety and peace of mind with the ChildMinder System from Baby Alert. Available for the SRP of $63.95 at www.babyalert.info in white, pink or blue

This device can save a child's life! I am sure you have heard of the little boy who was 22 months old left in a hot car and he died. He is so cute with blond hair. I am haunted by his face. Now already 13 children have died in a hot car this year already. Please parents get this device. It can save your child's life!

@Karen Glatt Karen, I did hear. Such a tragic story. This happens far to often. This is one of those products I don't think gets enough attention as it could potentially save the life of a child. I have a baby shower to attend at the end of the month. You can be sure I will be include this device as a gift.

This will no doubt save lives. I did hear about the child that died and my heart just sank. Although I cannot imagine forgetting about a child in a car or wherever, accidents happen. No parent should be without it.
