Snack Attack!

Compliment family movie night or your road trip with simple snacking from Big G cereals. I fully admit that we’re typically a family that will just grab a box a cereal and dig right in for snacking. Actually, I love cereal as a mid-day or even mid-night snack option. And for Family Movie Night there is nothing like a sweet & salty mix to satisfy everyone's cravings.

  • 1 cup white cheddar popcorn
  • 1 small bag M&Ms
  • 1/3 cup pretzels
  • 1/3 cup gold fish crackers
  • 1/3 cup Frosted Cheerios
  • 1/3 cup Cocoa Puffs

*Amounts used as a guide. Adjust as desired.

Pour the ingredients into a plastic bag or container; seal the bag and shake, or stir and cover the container.

Be creative! Take out the ingredients you don't like and add something else. Try raisins, peanuts or even marshmallows.

My kids loved the idea of camping out in the living-room with a big bowl of snacks. But first we had to choose one of the 10 movies available for digital download. After a quick glance the choice seemed simple for them.

With each of my son having read the complete Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and my daughter just starting on them, of course we had to watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid. We had a blast with our snacks, pillows, and free movie from Big G. It was a great way to spend an evening together and keep them occupied.

Pick up your specially marked packages of Big G cereals and redeem your codes before August 31st, and help combat summer boredom wherever it may strike!

Two things ~ First I am going to go through my coupons and go stock up on some of these cereals! Secondly, I just love salty / sweet snacks when I am watching movies. I love to put Raisinets in my popcorn for an quick and easy one. But this is better!

Oh wow I can imagine this is really good. It made me rethink movie snacks. I think I will surprise them with this on movie night, instead of just popcorn.
