The Bentwood Booster by Summer Infant: The Feeding Chair That Grows With Your Child (Review)

When welcoming a new baby, there are so many things to buy and product choices to think about. I’ve always tried to focus on what will be needed immediately and move on to other purchases once baby is here, as not to overwhelm myself. One item left on my “to buy” list was a highchair. But this time my thoughts on what I wanted in a highchair had changed drastically. I wanted something stylish to fit in with my décor, yet simple, something that wasn’t going to take up a ton of room in my kitchen. When I factored in size and style I wasn’t left with very many options, and to be honest, the options I were left with didn’t thrill me. And then I was contacted about the Bentwood Booster Seat from Summer Infant.

Wood Feeding Chairs
Disclosure: Product(s) supplied for purpose of this review. All opinions are my own and yours may differ.
With minimal assembly required, the Bentwood Booster Seat is a stylish, lightweight wood seat, with a beautiful dark stain finish and grey hard plastic base. When I typically think about a booster seat, I think about a seat designed for toddlers giving them an added boost to reach the table top properly. The Bentwood Booster Seat was designed to grow with your baby from about 6 months to toddler – or 37lbs.

The Bentwood Booster Seat by Summer Infant, features a 3-position recline and 3 position tray to fit your child’s needs, along with a removable and washable cushion seat pad. The 3 point harness ensures your baby stays in place, while chair straps secure the booster to chair. Right from the box I loved the finish and the simplicity of the seat. I know is well crafted, fits in with my kitchen, and doesn’t take up any additional space. And with 5 kids, how much space something takes up is a huge factor in every purchase I make.

Summer Infant Bentwood Booster Seat
If you're looking for that wood appeal, a seat that will last you, portability, or a space saving option. The Bentwood Booster Seat has it all. I the real bonus is that this isn't a single stage seat. You don't have to by a highchair and move on to a booster. Now your baby can grow with his or her feeding seat and you're left paying just one reasonable price. I adore this seat for what it is and it was exactly what I was looking for.

Buy It: The Bentwood Booster Seat is available at or for the SRP of $54.99.

I love that the seat cushion is washable! I like the look of the wood and how little space it takes up - space in the kitchen is definitely at a premium in my home

I have one of these and they are just awesome. Will never use a regular high chair again.
