Have you heard the news? This year Sprint released an exciting new pricing program that lets you decide who you consider family – the Sprint Framily Plan. What makes this plan different then your typical family plan is that this plan isn’t limited to immediate family, you can add almost whomever you want and each account can be billed separately.
|"I am a Sprint Ambassador. Product(s) and information received to help facilitate this post. All opinions are my own and yours may differ"|
The more people added to your Framily Plan the better – up to 10 lines per plan. For one line of service, new Sprint customers pay $55 per month per line for unlimited talk, text and 1GB of data. For each additional new Sprint customer that joins the Framily group, the cost per person goes down $5 a month up to a maximum monthly discount of $30 per line!! If you build a group of at least seven people, everyone gets unlimited talk, text and 1GB of data for $25 per month per line (pricing excludes taxes and surcharges). And keep in mind, each member of the group can still customize their plan to suit their individual needs.
What about Upgrades?
For only $20 per month per line, Framily members can buy up to unlimited data plus get a new phone every year! And Sprint always has you covered with all the hottest new smartphone like the Samsung Galaxy S 4 Mini!
Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini
We all have our preferences when it comes to smartphones; size, display, features etc. The Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini was built for those who like things scaled down for pocket-sied portability. I go back and forth I love the large bright displays of the big screen devices, but also appreciate the convenience of tossing my phone in my back pocket.
Featuring many of the exciting features of Samsung Galaxy S 4 in a sleek, compact design; this Android™ 4.2.2, Jelly Bean, smartphone offers a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED™ HD display, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 16GB memory and 1,900mAh lithium-ion battery. It’s also loaded with a 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Galaxy mini's lock screen has five shortcuts, which can be customized to your liking. Passing through the lock screen you’ll find 5 home screens with the ability to increase up to 7 home screens. You can customize each screen to suit you with widgets and apps like a clock, weather station, Google search bar, camera, calendar, email shortcuts and more. You also have your standard shortcut displays in the bottom bar; contacts, messaging, phone, Internet, and apps.
I was content with the camera as compared with my larger Samsung Galaxy 4S and found communication to be clear on the Sprint Network. You will also note that the s4 Mini is one of the first devices offered that runs off of Sprints newer, Sprint SparkSM (enhanced LTE), designed to achieve unprecedented speeds by combining three bands of 4G LTE wireless spectrum available to Sprint’s network. This is expected to give users the best experience by shifting from one band to another, depending on what speed is needed for the application in use at a given moment.
I have no issues with speeds in my neighborhood, but outside my “zone” I seem to have some trouble running at a good speed. I will say however, I am still able to access the web, email etc, at a much faster rate than my phone serviced off 3G no matter where I may be.
Buy It: Purchase the Samsung S 4 mini and find out more about Sprint’s new Framily Plan at your local Sprint store or online at Sprint.com
Win It: One lucky reader will win their own Samsung Galaxy 4 S Mini (service and activation not included) to hopefully try out with the new savings offered with the Framily Plan.
