When I introduced this line to my boys I was surprised to see how much it piqued their interest. Of course, over the years we’ve they’ve had yo-yo’s here and there, but never one designed to actually teach and help them learn the sport of yo-yoing. With the Yomega Rookie line, kids (and adults) can master the basics with colorful designs and an auto-return feature. The auto-return helps build confidants allowing even the littlest yo-yo’er in your house to master the basic skills and tricks. When players are ready to advance from “Rookie” to “Player,” Yomega’s “Yo to Pro”system will help them identify the next level yo-yo that’s right for them.
The Yomega Power Brain Rookie yo-you is like two yo-yos in one! Great for both beginners and intermediate player, the Power Brain yo-yo allows players to chose between an automatic and manual function with the flick of a switch. Great for confidence building and increasing knowledge of tricks and skills. (MSRP $14.99)

Yomega Kendama Pro
This set is a lot of fun. In fact, the kids along with my husband and I have had some fierce competitions going with this active play toy. A professional model, crafted from wood, this game basically good old-fashion cup ball, stepped up a notch. The object is to catch the completion-sized ball attached by a string into the different sized “cups” ending with a spike landing; landing the ball on the pointed tip.
I admit I'm not too good at this game, but it’s totally addicting. We’ve spent hours together seeing whose better and who could land the more difficult catches. I will note though, this is a game better suited for older children and adults, as the ball is hard and could potential hit you if you’re not too skilled – I’m not saying this did or did not happen to me! ;) (MSRP $19.99)
