What's New from Born Free (Review & Giveaway)

Disclosure: Products received to help facilitate this post. All opinions, however, are my own and were in no way influenced. Thank you to Born Free for supplying giveaway prizes.

I think it’s safe to say Born Free is a brand most parents know. Born Free is dedicated to creating feeding lines with the highest standards of safety. They’ve always been a more natural choice for bottles that are uniquely made to satisfy every baby’s feeding needs – breast, bottle or both. I’ve used Born Free feeding products in the past and have always equated them with strictly feeding products. But that is no longer the case! Introducing the Born Free line of more natural baby accessories including: muslin blankets, bibs, burp cloths, pacifier pouches, bottle insulators, snack bags, nursing shawls and more!

Over the years since I gave birth to my daughter, I’ve been hearing phenomenal things from new moms about muslin blankets. Back when I had my other children, I guess, either I wasn’t hip to these blankets or they weren’t readily available to me. Now I totally get what the fuss is all about!

Born Free Calm Muslin Blankets

Born Free Calm Muslin Blankets are 100% cotton lightweight muslin, naturally breathable and soft. By look and feel you can immediately notice a huge difference over traditional receiving blankets. In a large 40” by 40” size these are these blankets are perfect for swaddling with their soft, breathable texture, gentle on babies skin. And unlike most  baby blankets you’ll notice they only get softer with each washing, instead of stiff and irritating. If you’ve yet to try a muslin blanket, trust me, they are amazing! And will make you never want to go back to another swaddling blanket again. MSRP $29.99

Baby Must Haves

Now that my bias for muslin cotton is out of the way it will probably be no shock that the Born Free Soft Clean burp cloths and bibs were another hit with me.

Born Free Bibs and Burp Cloths

The front of the Soft Clean bib and burp cloth has a natural modern design and is crafted with muslin cotton for gentle cleanups. The reverse side of the bib and burp cloth are an absorbent terry cloth to keep baby (and moms shoulder) dry during feedings.

Muslin Bibs

Available in pink, blue and gender neutral patterns the SRP is $14.99 for a 3 pack or bibs and $9.99 for the burp cloths.

There is so much to think about when welcoming a new baby and so many products on the market that it’s hard to decipher what you need and what you don’t need. There were many small items I received as shower gifts that I would have never thought of buying, but absolutely loved. And that is how I feel about these next three convenience products from Born Free.

Born Free baby accessories

The Born Free Pacifier Pouch is simple idea. If your baby uses a pacifier you know keeping it clean can be a chore when on-the-go. I always hated simply tossing it inside his or her diaper bag knowing how many hands have and will reach in there. The pacifier pouch is small enough to keep in your purse or diaper bag, yet large enough to fit 2 pacifiers. This bag is specifically designed just to hold your baby’s pacifier, keeping it clean and ready for use. It also has a side snap for attaching to carrier, stroller or bag strap and is machine washable. MSRP $7.99

The Born Free Bottle Insulator helps keep babies bottle warmer, longer. It has a clean design and is made to grip the bottle with ease. MSRP $7.99

Before you know it, besides the diapers and bottle you’ll be packing a snack in that diaper bag as well. With the Born Free Snack Bag you’re provided with an eco-friendly and clean solution to your baby/toddlers snacking needs on-the-go. This reusable pouch is ideal for holding fruit, crackers, or any snack that you want. Featuring an easy clean waterproof lining and design which coordinates with the pacifier pouch and bottle insulator, it is also machine washable. MSRP $9.99

The Born Free Nursing Shawl is a must for the nursing mom. This simple black shawl allows for style and discretion. A Full-coverage scarf with an opening in the neck for easy wear and removal, you can wear this scarf in several different fashions throughout the day and let it down when baby is ready feed for complete coverage and privacy.

Ways to Wear your Born Free Nursing Shawl

Made of 100% cotton and completely machine washable it provides comfort for both mom and baby, with privacy and style all wrapped up into one. MSRP $19.99
