Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Bottle Line and Pacifiers (Review & G|veaway)

logo

I’ll be very honest I’ve never been a big pacifier mom. I did try them with my kids, but limited the amount of time I would let them soothe with one, as I always had that fear they would become dependent. Since the birth of my last child almost 7 years ago, I’ve come across a lot of interesting facts that have turned the tables about how I feel about the use of pacifiers (like possibly helping decrease the risk of SIDS) and wanted to look into my options available for the new baby. My only stipulation (if baby approves) is I want to find a pacifier that pairs with whichever feeding system we choose.

I like to introduce two bottle types to my babies since one of my boys was very particular from birth, as to the style of nipple he would drink from. One of my choices this time around will be the Closer to Nature Bottles by Tommee Tippee. Honestly, it was their appearance that first caught my eye with a short wide bottom for easy cleaning, indented middle for grip, and nipple design similar to mother's breast.

Baby Bottles: Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature

I'm anxious to see how baby will like this design because it's appealing to me as an easy to clean bottle with a nice look. The facts however, are more important than style. And according to tommee tippee the Closer to Nature line offers a more natural feeding experience with a nipple design that better imitates the actions and feeling of breast feeding, making these bottles a good choice for those, like myself, looking to switch between breast and bottle. Additionally, the Closer to Nature bottles include a super sensitive Easi-Vent valve which is supposed to prevent baby from swallowing excess air for easier feeding. I always choose a bottle with less-risk of air intake.

Tommee Tippee, now also has a new line of Closer to Nature pacifiers which have a similar nipple design to their bottle line. The Closer to Nature, every day pacifiers, are designed for baby's acceptance from the first attempt. BPA and phthalate-free they have a symmetrical orthodontic shape with a traditional shield style design.
