Organized is one thing I am not, but I am a planner. One of the reasons I am probably so unorganized is because of the hordes of clothing, toys and game I have stashed away for the future. And with a new little one on the way, I just can’t help but snatch things up now, that I think he or she will enjoy or get use out of in the future. While browsing through one of my favorite sites for educational toys – Learning Resources – the Hide-n-Go-Moo set caught my attention.
A 10 piece set including: 8 animals (adult and baby cow, duck, horse, and pig) and 1 barn the Hide-n-Go-Moo set is geared toward toddlers ages 2 – 4, focusing on the use of sensory skills.
At the top of the barn there is a vinyl flap, little hands reach in and determine animals based on touch. Toddlers can match baby and mother animals, or simply enjoy a game of peek-a-boo being surprised each time they pull out a new animal.
The pieces in the set are large and built to be durable. This is a versatile set allowing multiple ways for play, as well as easy cleanup. All the pieces fit right back into the barn making for easy cleanup or portability for travel.
I personally found this to be a fun an interesting learning toy, which is why I decided to add it to our babies “future” collection. However, upon helping me test out the Hide-n-Go-Moo Barn my daughter really took to it. She enjoys pulling out an initial animal and then trying to match it with its partner by simply feeling for it.
Win It: One lucky reader will win a Hide-n-Go-Moo set just in time for the holidays!
