Who remembers those classic days of real Saturday morning cartoons? DuckTales was always a favorite of mine; in fact I can’t keep myself from singing the theme song in my mind as I type this. As a Saturday morning cartoon kid this also means one of my first gaming systems included Nintendo, and I of course played DuckTales the video game!

New for 2013 DuckTales: Remastered is the perfect game that both kids and parents can enjoy together, available on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U. Players will embark on an authentic DuckTales adventure, as Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews; Huey, Dewey and Louie travel to exotic locations throughout the world in their quest to retrieve the 5 Legendary Treasures. Originally released 24 years ago, the game has been beautifully remastered, providing new parents the opportunity to share their favorite childhood show with their game-savvy kids, bridging the generation gap and ultimately bringing families together.
The original game's levels are featured, but expanded with new areas and new boss patterns. The game features new story elements which explain some of the motives and reasoning behind each level, such as how Scrooge is able to breathe on the Moon. The game also features almost identical gameplay of the original, with a few gameplay tweaks, such as a map screen and an easier pogo jump, which can be toggled on and off. DuckTales: Remastered features a new tutorial level, set in Scrooge's money vault, and a new level in Mount Vesuvius leading up to the final boss. Money gathered in levels can now be used to unlock various gallery items such as concept art and pieces of music.**
