Matilda Jane Clothing {Review & G|veaway} @MatildaJaneGals

Over the years my fashions focus has switched from me to my children. As much as I love clothing for myself, I love seeing my little ones rock some adorable fashions even more. And when I had my daughter my love for boutique styles became an obsession.

Matilda Jane goes beyond the ordinary with colorful, timeless, and playful ensembles that are age-appropriate and help reflect the personality of a child. Just in time for the back to school season we were sent a few pieces from Matilda Jane’s new Paint by Numbers collection.

What I really appreciate about Matilda Jane Clothing, beyond their amazing styles, is the versatility within a collection and how each piece within a collection is made to mix and match. Meaning both tops we received will coordinate with the Gleam leggings (and many other collection pieces) for two totally separate looks.

The Paint by Numbers Collection was inspired by fall. With hues of brown and bold earthy tones there is something that seems to specifically appeal to me about this collection. For our review we were sent the Sky View Puffer Tee, Turtle Dove Knot Top and Gleam Leggings.

The first look is the gleam leggings and turtle dove knot top. The top can easily be paired with a long sleeved white or cream top for the cooler months. But since it was in the high 90's here today we opted for more of a tank top look. Featuring a back tie and adjustable knot straps you can get that perfect fit.

I went with a size 6 in tops and bottom. I thought the fit was pretty true to size, but you might notice the pants are a tad big. That's because normally my daughter fits a 5 or 6S in bottoms while she is a 6 in tops. I figured it was best to go big because with the Gleam Leggings, since they look adorable as a long legging or a capri, with their gorgeous ruffled bottoms.

Last we have the Sky View Puffer Tee with the Gleam Leggings. 

Personally, I'm not sure how I feel about the color combination, but in a short trip outside she racked up not one, but two compliments on her unquie attire. They really seemed to adore the ruffled/puffed sleeves and leg cuffs.

Matilda Jane doesn't just have me as a fan, my daughter loves their fashions as well. She must have told me at least 20 times how comfortable the clothes are. I can't even begin to describe how truly picky she is with the way clothes and shoes feel against her skin. For her to tell me how comfortable this outfit was, just made me want to order a few things for myself!
