Help Your School Excel with Excedrin's Back to School Contest #Sponsored

Excedrin Back-to-School Contest
"This post is part of a sponsored campaign with Excedrin® and MomSelect. All thoughts and opinions are my own."

As joyful as back to school can be for some parents, it can also be a bit of a headache – literally! According to a recent survey by the makers of Excedrin®, 69% of parents, who have at least one child in school this coming year, say they are excited for their child’s first day of school. Yet, that doesn’t seem to change the fact that 44% of parents also say they expect to get a headache during the back to school season. And I can say with 100% certainty, I am one of those 44%.

Headaches have played a major part in my life for nearly 10 years. Not only do I suffer from migraines, but am often plagued with tension headaches as well. I’ve seen specialists, under gone multiple tests, only to come to the conclusion these headaches are simply I part of life. And while my migraines are most typically trigger by hormonal changes, it also came to light that stress is a big trigger for me as well – thank goodness for my Excedrin.

"According to a recent survey by the makers of Excedrin®, more than one-third of parents* cite getting themselves (41%) and their children (43%) back on a schedule at the top of the list of things that might cause their headaches during the back to school season."

Back to school typically brings with it a large stress load for Mom, Just figuring out school supply needs, planning lunches, bargain hunting for those most have styles, and making sure our child or children are prepared overall is enough to give anyone even a slight headache. You might want to remember grab not just pens and pencils, but a bottle of Excedrin for yourself too!

This back to school season, Excedrin is not only helping relieve our headaches, big and small, but the headaches our teachers, districts, and even us as parent feel, knowing our schools are in need of new or upgraded supplies such as pencils and paper and computers or software and gym/sporting equipment. This is a great program. I agree that adults and kids tend to get more headaches when it's back to school.
