Green Giant Veggie Chips and No-Fuss Buffalo Dip #Recipe #GiantFlavor #ad

b v

With my kids heading back to school tomorrow, it’s important for me to have a variety of easy to grab snacks on-hand for them when they arrive home. I don’t know what it is about a full school day that leaves them absolutely famished by the time they get home, but a snack is sure to be the first thing they ask for as soon as those bus doors open.

This week we discovered a crunchy new snack bursting with flavor: Green Giant Veggie Snack Chips!

Veggie Chips from Green Giant

Green Giant has taken what they know best (vegetables) and made a delicious new snack perfect at any time. The two varieties we tried were Green Giant Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips in Barbecue Flavor and my personal favorite, Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips in  Garden Ranch.

Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips

The Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips, combine a subtle sweet potato taste with all the zestiness of delicious barbecue flavoring. Or maybe it's the other way around? It's hard to describe, but you can actually taste a sweetness as well as a mesquite BBQ flavor within each bite.

Green Giant: Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips

Like a sweet potato these chips are orange in coloring and have a light airy texture to them. But once you take a bite, they pack a surprising crunch.

Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips

Did someone say ranch and roasted bell peppers? I knew right from the description on the bag I was going to love these chips! Made with dried real peppers, broccoli, tomato, carrots and corn, and dusted in ranch flavor, these chips are roasted (not fried) with goodness! While they had that familiar triangular shape the taste was one of a kind.

With regular season football quickly approaching I was hoping my husband's favorite, spicy buffalo dip, would make the perfect companion to the ranch flavor in Green Giants Veggie Snack Chips for an exciting new snack come game day.

No-Fuss Buffalo Chicken Dip

Buffalo Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Colby & Monterey Jack cheese blend
  • Green onion, chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°. In small baking dish mix together chicken, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, and ½ a cup of cheese; spread evenly in dish. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 15- 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

The kids love Green Giant Veggie Chips!

The ranch flavor paired amazingly with the "kick" in the dip. And not only did my husband have a new favorite game day snack, but my kids where hooked. When I asked them which of the two Green Giant chip flavors were their favorite, I left them speechless - theirs a switch! Finally my son declared "we really like them both!" It's not often we come across a snack that appeals to my kids and my husband. They usually have every very different tastes. We will certainly be enjoying these chips for as a new family favorite, anytime!

Oh, your dip sounds delicious! I tried the sweet potato chips plain and I thought they were too bland, but I bet they would be perfect with this!

I haven't tried these chips either. This is what I need to snack on when it's in-between meals and don't want to fill up. But they would be great at any party, to snack watching TV or Movies, Pop on a tray and dip and take to those parties where you can't decide what to bring. Thanks for sharing I have on my grocery list now.
