This Wednesday will mark 5 months to the day that I quit smoking. It’s amazing the little things you begin to notice at as a non-smoker. See, I’ve always been very strict with my oral hygiene routine and thought my manual brush and I were doing a decent job getting my mouth clean. It wasn’t until my mouth wasn’t being polluted constantly that I realized I could feel a film (plaque I guess) build-up on my teeth throughout the day – this totally grossed me out! Was the plaque always lurking, but I couldn’t notice? Whatever the situation is, it was clear I needed a better toothbrush. Perhaps an electric toothbrush was my best bet?
I've been using my new toothbrush for a week now and am confident I will not be going back to my manual brush anytime soon. In fact, I can see the Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush being beneficial for my entire family.
Power Up Your Smile
The Sonicare Powerup does in one day what your manual takes and entire month to do! Delivering more brush strokes in a day with sonic technology, than I get in an entire month with my manual brush. On top of that it has a built-in timer so you can be sure you're brushing for the recommended amount of time. It's funny, I've bought so many little gadgets, from egg timers to musical toothbrushes, to ensure my kids brush their teeth for the recommend time period, yet I just brush and run. With the Sonicare PowerUp, I just have to start brushing and it will shut off when my 2 minutes are up. That's pretty cool, right?
As many cool little features as the Sonicare PowerUp has, what really stood out to me was this toothbrushes power and the way the brush head was able to actually get in between my teeth unlike any other product I've tried. My teeth were left with that slick feel you normally get from a cleaning at your dentist and my mouth was definitely left feeling cleaner longer. I'm no longer being pestered by this feeling that my teeth have a film of plaque building upon them an hour after I've brushed.
Over the past week it's become clear to me that my Sonicare PowerUp electronic toothbrush, is far superior to my manual. For me to continue using this toothbrush can only mean, less plaque and healthier teeth and gums! Oh, and it also means my manual brush can get back to what it's good at...
