I am thrilled to announce that I am a Boys & Girls Club (BGCA) Back-to-School Ambassador! As an avid supporter of the BGCA, I’m excited to be supplying you with information about their efforts this back-to-school season to help provide academic success and a great future to our young people through their after-school programs. And of course there are plenty of ways you and I can get involved and help.
jcpenney’s cares round-up campaign
For the month of July the BGCA has partnered with jcp for the “jcpenney cares round up campaign“. Register round-ups give customers a chance to make a difference while getting your own children prepared for the back-to-school season.
|Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.|
Throughout the month of July, you can round-up your jcpenney purchases to the nearest dollar. All “round-up” proceeds go to supporting the Boys & Girls Club after school programs throughout the country. This is such a simple way to positively impact another child’s life, while preparing your own child for a rewarding school year.
Making a Postive Impact
The Boys and Girls Club of America has already positively impacted the lives of many children and I salute them in their mission to enable all young people – especially those who need them most – to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
“Every day, 15.1 million kids are left unsupervised after school. Boys & Girls Clubs are there to provide kids with quality after-school programming to keep them on track to academic success and a great future.”
The BGCA strives to make a positive difference in the lives of our youth by providing a safe place to learn, grow and have some fun. No child should be without these three essentials. America’s children are only young once, let’s help them reach their full potential and add some joy in their lives.
When back-to-school shopping please consider that there are still a few days left to round-up at the register and JCP.com to help the BGCA make a difference.
