Decorating your home can be a lot of fun but it can also be a huge expense. Homeowners will often watch home design shows on television shows such as those featured on HGTV, and try their best to make their home look exactly like they saw on the television. While you cannot emulate everything that you saw on the shows there are something that you can. Decorating with picture frames is a cheap and exciting way of decorating. You can use picture frames to showcase your latest travel adventures, or use poster frames to frame some of your favorite movie posters. Vintage movie posters are a great source of decoration. Not only do they showcase your interest and are a focal point of any room, but they are also relatively inexpensive but add that ‘wow’ factor to any room décor.

If you want some inexpensive poster or picture frames, make sure to look online for wholesale poster frames. If you are trying to make your poster fit the room décor, without taking away from it, make sure to opt for a black frame that will give you that sleek and sophisticated feel, while matching virtually everything. One important rule to remember when decorating with posters and pictures is to avoid making your house look like a college dorm room. Posters can be classy but they have to be displayed in poster or picture frames. Posters stuck to the wall with putty or thumb tacks take away from appeal

When choosing which posters to display make sure to express your interest, after all it is your unique interest. Additionally, choose posters with colors that compliment or bring out the other colors in the room. You do not need to have a lot of money to make your house look like those in a magazine. Few careful investments can go a long way.

I like the idea and look of frame posters especially in a media room.

Sometimes the frame can make the picture! We have a few pieces of sentimental "art" (painted by a dear Uncle) that are, frankly, eck. However, my husband found some great antique frames at a yard sale and they actually look great o our walls.

I love this idea! I have a brand new black poster frame still in the plastic that someone left outside my apartment complex's dumpster and I'm searching for the right poster. Thanks for sharing and Happy Mother's Day!

I like decorating a home with really nice pictures and the frames are really important in making a wall look nice. I like this picture shown on this wall. I have gotten really unique picture frames at yard sales for barely anything. Yard sales are a good place to look.
