Slow Cooker Apple Crisps #Recipe

Apple Crisp #SlowCooker #Recipe

If it contains apples it’s usually a big hit with my kids. These Apple Crisp are not only an absolute favorite in my home, but are incredibly easy to make.

What you need:

  • 2 cans apple pie filling
  • 1 ½ cup yellow cake mix
  • 5 tablespoons butter, cut up
  • 2/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
Directions:

Grease your slow cooker with some butter and pour in apple pie filling.

Mix your dry cake mix with the butter until crumbly, pour on top of filling and cover with walnuts.

Cover your slow cooker; cook on low 2.5 hours.

Serve with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream for a really yummy treat!

I dont use a cake mix for my usual apple crisp but I will have to try your recipe using it. Made in a crock pot easy and simplier.
thanks for the recipe

That looks so good it is almost sinful! I have never made a dessert in a crock pot, but I simply love the idea! No heat from the oven, super important right now as it is so darn hot here! Will let you know how it turns out! Will try to make this weekend.
