Cruises are fantastic holidays
for the family. Cruise ships nowadays are filled to the brim with state of the
art technology and facilities to keep the whole family entertained, throughout
the vacation.
Whether
you want an action-packed excursion or a relaxing chilled break, there is a
wealth of fun things to do to keep your little ones amused for hours on end.
Keep
sane and enjoy your holiday with these top 6 tips:
Get wet and let your hair down
Many
cruise lines have multiple swimming pools on-board including paddling pools for
babies, and some even include waterslides. Even if the weather isn’t quite that
great, many ships also have an indoor pool as well as Jacuzzis, so your kids
can still splash about and have fun.
Sport
If
you need something to help your children let off steam, there are various
sporting facilities on-board to entertain everyone from basketball courts and
football pitches, to cricket courts and golf simulators. Sport
All
of these are supervised, so parents can relax with peace of mind that their
child is taken care of.
Hair and beauty salon

If
you want to spend some quality time with your kids and they like being
pampered, why not make use of the board’s hair and beauty salon? Here you can
both get back massages, manicure and pedicures, and get your hair expertly
styled by the ship’s hairdresser.
Kid’s clubs
Many
operators offer dedicated kid’s clubs that entertain children all day long.
They provide lots of events and activities such as panto, whale-watching, pizza
parties, talent shows and outdoor cinema for a vast range of ages.Kid’s clubs
Big cruise liners like the Royal Caribbean, P&O, and Princess are renowned for offering great kid’s clubs.
Dock activities
If
your cruise plans to dock at a particular destination, you can keep the whole
family amused with off-ship excursions and attractions. Upon receiving your cruise’s
itinerary, plan ahead and find out what fun things there are to do at each port
of call.
Alternatively,
some cruise lines offer off-board pursuits and day trips like mountain hikes,
or visits to waterparks.
Technology
Technology
Nowadays,
you can pass the hours easily with an iPad or tablet. You can download
applications, books and films onto the device beforehand at home, and the kids
can simply sit by the pool, watching their favourite movie, or playing games.
So
there are just a few ways that you can entertain the little monsters on your
cruise holiday. Have you ever been on a cruise with the kids, what was your
experience? We’d love to hear your stories and your parent tips on keeping the
children amused.

Kids clubs are the best!
I haven't been on a cruise in years, but I would love to take the Grandkids. Wonderful ideas. I bet they would have a ball.
Yes we went on a cruise and didn't use the kids club and that was a big mistake. We will use it next time for sure!!!
