What you need:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup Nutella on reserve
- 1 stick of butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pink or red sugar crystals
- 1 package of Hershey’s hugs candy, unwrapped
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, mix the chocolate hazelnut spread, butter, sugar and brown sugar. Beat together at medium speed until creamy; beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in the dry ingredients.
Shape the cookie dough into balls. Roll the balls in the sugar crystals; place the cookies on a cookie sheet about 4 inches apart, making an indentation with your thumb in the center of the balled dough. Bake for 8 -10 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven. Quickly spoon about ½ tsp of Nutella into the center and top with a Hershey’s Hug. As the cookies cool the Hugs will melt into the Nutella.
Cool and serve.
Cool and serve.
