The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE Powered by Sprint - My new BFF

Confession time. As a blogger, Mother, social media junkie and lover of technology, I did not own a Smartphone - I know, it’s shocking! I’m sure for those of you who own a Smartphone, your amazed I was able to make it this long and for those that don’t, I wonder why? My own reasons had a lot to do with cost and the thinking that I didn’t really need all the fancy features.

Well, thanks to Sprint, I’ve gotten the chance to decide for myself if a Smartphone is a need or necessity in my life. Over the next month and a half I will be sharing with you my likes, dislikes, favorite features, functions and so much more when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE powered by Sprint. This device is equipped with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform featuring faster data speeds, a 4-inch display, and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. There's also a 5-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, Sprint ID and Google Wallet!

As soon as I unpacked the phone I knew I was going to be in love. It was really that simple. I had it set-up in mere minutes. I was immediately able to connect to my Google account and import my contacts and other important information. I can take photos and directly upload them to any one of my social media accounts, keep the kids occupied with Netflix during those long waits at the doctor’s office and quickly direct my husband in the right direction when we are out and about thanks to GPS navigation.

Sprint also offers fun ID packs. The service essentially gives Android users an opportunity to commit to or switch between different display “themes” which contain wallpaper, widgets, home screen shortcut buttons, and apps, tailored in a sense to themes that interest you. I’m still sorting through these and will update you all about Sprint ID packs and which ones I found most useful soon.

I also may have found my number one must-have feature. The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE serves as a hotspot! This is useful to me for multiple reasons. Now, not only can I work on the go, but the kids can catch-up on their studies, play games and stream movies without Mommy having to give up her phone.

I think the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE was really well matched with me, a basically first-time smartphone user. The features have really been simple for me to understand and use, though I admit I don’t even think I’ve scratched the surface. I’ve been trying to take one function on at a time to really learn the ins and outs of specific features I think you all will really enjoy. Now if I could just stop distracting myself with email and apps!

I can't wait to tell you more, but for now I would love to know what phone feature is a must-have for you?

I am participating in Sprints blogger program and have been compensated with product(s) for this post, however all opinions expressed are my own

You'll decide it is a necessity before it is over!
