Hotel Transylvania for Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS

I’m sure a lot of you have seen the previews for the hit new movie Hotel Transylvania. Well like most movies a video game was sure to follow. And no time was wasted in getting out Hotel Transylvania for Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS. I’m actually sad to say we have yet to see the film, but that didn’t stop my kids from inquiring about the video game. Once I saw a preview of it I was reminded of an old favorite, Castlevania, and my interested was then piqued as well.

Count Dracula’s five-stake resort welcomes you! Hotel Transylvania, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters that they are with no humans around to bother them. Dracula’s beloved daughter Mavis is turning 118 and Dracula has invited a few of his closest friends: Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, and the Werewolf family to Hotel Transylvania to celebrate her special day. Catering to these monsters is a delight for Dracula, but everything could change for the overprotective father when one ordinary guy stumbles through the hotel and takes a shine to Mavis.

Hotel Transylvania for DS and 3S features a wide variety of locations, puzzles, and boss battles galore, creating an imaginative and fun way to interact with the movie characters.

In this family friendly adventure you play as Dracula’s daughter, Mavis, who is in search of her new friend, Johnnystein.  Mavis takes to exploring each room, gathering power-ups, and completing objectives in a RPG like style. The controls were simple. With each new moved learned, a specific button was assigned for that moved, pretty basic, but in a good way – especially for younger players.

Developed by WayForward Technologies, Hotel Transylvania for Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS is rated “E10+” for Everyone 10 and over by the ESRB. For additional information about GameMill please visit:
