The idea behind Cuddleuppets is simple. Instead of being a stuffed animal that converts into a pillow these are blankets that are also puppets. Made by Jay at play, makers of Happy Nappers, Cuddleuppets make a great first time introduction to the world or transforming pillows and blankets, but they also make a great coordinating item.
Cuddleuppets are available in six fun styles including:
- Pink Poodle
- Purple Monkey
- Yellow Puppy
- Green Crocodile
Apparently our blue elephant is no longer sold?? We love him!
The head of the Cuddleuppet is a large soft stuffed animal with features of said animal variety, while the body is the blanket with hands and feet/paws. The blanket itself measures 39 inches long by 28 inches wide so it is big enough to cover most kids and small enough to carry just about anywhere. I love the super soft feel as does my daughter.
I was actually really pleased with this product. I thought the concept and quality was great and I loved that is was the perfect size for travel. Even in the middle of the summer my daughter insists on bring some huge blanket into the car where ever we go. With
Cuddleuppets they can entertain each other with a puppet show or snuggle up; perfect for car rides, plane rides and just hanging out on the couch.
I washed our Cuddleuppet for the first time last week on the gentle cycle and air fluffed dry just to be safe. He came out good as new – I was worried I might ruin him.
Our Cuddleuppet travels with us even when we are just making a quick run to the grocery store and is always my daughters couch companion.
