Just in time for back to school Tea flew to Finland, Sweden and Denmark to bring back style inspiration of a culture filled with bold colors, floral patterns, swaggering stripes, cobblestone roads and the scenes that line those roads. And with that they have brought forth a beautiful Nordic collection for the season. I was very excited to have the chance to check out this collection first hand. I am always so impressed and amazed with their inspired collections and my children are often complimented on their clothing designed by The Tea Collection.
This year a simple Life in the Tress dress - An original blue-hughed pattern infused with nature begs to be worn outdoors – brought out my daughters love for nature in her style. Living in Florida I love clothes that are easily layered especially in the fall and winter months, as we never know when a chillier day just might sneak up on us. Paired with The Tea Collections skinny striped leggings, this dress is perfect for a chilly day or is simply adorable worn alone on a warmer afternoon.
There are many wonderful style options about for my daughter; it’s the boys that are truly hard to buy for. Tea inspires yet again with their Nordic Collection for boys. We were sent Surplus Playwear pants, Levi’s jeans, City Biker Tea and Peli striped hoodie. With these four pieces so much was possible. The tee was easily paired with the jeans and was a perfect match for the hoodie on the colder mornings. But easily enough, both pieces also paired well with the Surplus Playwear pants.
What I loved about these pants was they are built-tough for the way boys play. And on top of that they feature an adjustable waist. I love an adjustable waist for getting more wear out of pants, but what I typically dislike about adjustable waist is how easy it is to lose the adjustable band inside the jeans. Tea has stitched the usually loose end of the adjustable band into the pant, so whether the band is held in place by the button or not, you will not lose it! I love this! Why, everyone doesn’t do this with their pants and jeans are beyond me.
