I admit I am probably one of just a handful of women that didn’t hit the theaters for the Magic Mike premiere, so as you can imagine I was thrilled to hear it was heading for Blu-ray Combo Pack on October 23, 2012.

The film is actually supposed to be loosely based on the experiences of Tatum, who was a nineteen-year-old stripper in Florida. Which might be why Channing Tatum is simply amazing as Magic Mike, a young entrepreneur with many talents and loads of charm. Mike spends his days perusing the American Dream, from roofing houses to designing furniture.  But at night Mike turns into Magic Mike, a hot headliner at the all-male club, Club Xquisite.  The club is owned by Dallas, (Matthew McConaughey) who is a self-serving, all-indulging proprietor of the club. He forgoes friendships and loyalty to achieve his dream while, the summer heats up for Mike. He meets an intriguing new woman that makes him re-think his life’s paths.
