With three boys one thing I have come to accept is a love of cars and trucks. I don’t think I will ever see the day my boys aren’t intrigued with vehicles, but at least for now I can get away with the small versions.

John Deere has always been a favorite when it comes to getting down and dirty with farm-themed toys – including a wide selection of scale model diecast farm toys, construction toys, ride-ons and collectibles. John Deere makes our list of favorites due to the fact their toys are built tough, and durable enough to last through your child’s childhood and beyond. Oh and of course they offer lots of creative and imaginative role-play! One of their newer additions that we received is the John Deere Lights and Sounds 6 inch Monster Treads Vehicle - XUV Gator.

My youngest son still has a great deal of love for sitting on the floor and rolling around his trucks, but he really loves to get them outside and into the dirt – typical! With the John Deere Lights N Sound Monster Treads Vehicle the tough durable plastic makes for great play both indoors and out. With 3 button functions and working LED lights he can really get creative.

The tires are probably my favorite part as they are over-sized and super bouncy making for some great pretend off roading adventures!  Additional features include all terrain steering and a small cargo area in the rear of the truck for collecting dirt and rocks as boys do – or at least my boys ;)
