Learning Resources is a leading global manufacturer of innovative, hands-on educational products trusted by teachers and parents and loved by children. They offer over 1100+ products geared toward children of all ages up to middle school. All their products incorporate learning, fun and even pretend play. They are my one and only go to shop when it comes to educational fun.
My boys are now in grades where science projects are a yearly requirement. And I have to say, we have had a lot of fun coming up with different experiments each year. The only thing I usually have a problem with is how to showcase the messier project - or the ones neither the kids or I want to "dig" into. Unfortunately, this leave a lot of fun options out. Or at least it did until this year.
As soon as I came across the Hands-on Discovery Lab, I knew it would be perfect for this years science experiment.
The Hands-on Discovery lab takes the mess out of experiments and more! The viewing box is made of a hard plastic with a removable top, and heavy latex gloves, which are built into the side. These gloves can be removed and replace with caps.
Above my son is just “testing” out the box. I think I made all my kids mad at me with this one, because I stored it for use later this year. Certainly the box isn’t only good for experiments, but it will allow your child to get up close to the grosser things as too. My kids wanted to use it to capture lizard, this is why I decided to wait until after the science fair to let them have at it. Really the possibilities are endless! You can exam nature, contain a messy experiment, observe insects and much more! It’s actually a pretty neat tool to have around, even for parents whom home school.
As soon as the science fair passes, I know my children will be filling the box with all sorts of things. I'm just glad it is washable!
