As you all know, this past weekend mark the start of fall. For me this means trading in those cups of iced coffee for soothing hot chocolate drinks and pumpkin spiced latte. I couldn’t let the week pass without sharing one of my favorite warm drink recipes. Although, this is a great drink year round, I especially enjoy Hot Mocha on a crisp fall morning – unfortunately I don’t get many of those.
You know it’s all about easy with me and this recipe is no different.
What you need:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
- 1 cup dry milk
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 cup instant coffee
In a large bowl, combine sugar, milk powder, creamer, cocoa and instant coffee. Mix together until well blended.
Served heated adding a cup of milk ( water can also be used) per serving . Stir in 2 to 3 heaping teaspoons of drinking chocolate powder.
