Benefits To Gaming - #AmazingWorldGame Give Away

Logo

How do you feel about your children gaming? Are you for or against it? In our household we embrace gaming. My husband and I both grew up in the age of video games and gaming was a very common self and family activity for us. I guess it's only natural that we enjoy gaming with our own children as well.

Gaming has really ventured into so many different areas, some enjoy PC game play, others enjoy a particular system or two and I’m sure there are some who still frequent arcades – we actually have a few of those near us. My question is, do you, find benefits to children gaming?

Of course there are plenty of rated "M" games to keep that adults happy, but most games today are rated E for everyone. With these games actually comes a number of surprising benefits to players young and old.

Allowing younger children to play educational titles can help with early learning and improve literacy; for tweens and teens the role play in many games helps promote and delegate responsibility. Most games today are available in multiple person online play, teaching teamwork and working together for a common goal. Hand and eye coordination is an easy benefit to see, especially with games like Guitar Hero or DJ Hero, where you are following notes on screen and preforming the actions with your hands. And gaming has been taking to a whole new level with systems like the Wii, Playstation Eye and Xbox Kinect; getting you up and moving!

For us the benefits and fun factor outweigh the negative that can sometimes be betrayed, the only downside, cost. Gaming can be pricey, but a quick internet search will provide you a ton of fun free gaming options like AMAZING WORLD!

Amazing World is a free to play, online game in which you can create a 3-D virtual world and make friends. Make your own Amazing World; customize virtual homes, play missions, care for zings and more all within a controlled environment. A creative game, for children and tweens!

What’s unique about Amazing World is the fact it is fully intergradable with Zing Toys. By registering an Amazing World Plush (Zings) you will get to play as your plush Zing and get an exclusive item – this is not a must to play the game.

Toy Zing

Curious about what a Zing is? Zings are inhabitants of Amazing World which you take care of. You can also name and customize your Zings throughout the game.

Not only did my daughter really get into the bright, creative play, but my son enjoyed the creative side of the game, as well as, the fun missions and the ability to chat.
