- 2 eggs, whipped
- ½ cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- black pepper
- 4 - 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast
- ½ stick of butter, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375, whip eggs and milk together in a bowl. Mix your crackers, garlic salt and pepper, place on a plate; dip chicken in egg and milk mixture then coat with crumb mix.
Arrange chicken and butter slices in baking dish and cook for 35-40 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Optional:
My boys don't like cheddar cheese so I usually omit this step, I do however prefer this dish with cheese.
Sprinkle cheese over the top of chicken, placing chicken back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes until cheese melts.
Have you noticed a theme with me? Yes, we love our chicken! And Mom loves simple.
