Baked Butter & Garlic Chicken #Recipe

Chicken Breast Recipes

What you need:

  • 2 eggs, whipped
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • black pepper
  • 4 - 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast
  • ½ stick of butter, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Directions:

Preheat oven to 375, whip eggs and milk together in a bowl. Mix your crackers, garlic salt and pepper, place on a plate; dip chicken in egg and milk mixture then coat with crumb mix.

Arrange chicken and butter slices in baking dish and cook for 35-40 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Optional:
My boys don't like cheddar cheese so I usually omit this step, I do however prefer this dish with cheese.

Sprinkle cheese over the top of chicken, placing chicken back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes until cheese melts.

Have you noticed a theme with me? Yes, we love our chicken! And Mom loves simple.

Your picture of your Baked Butter & Garlic Chicken Recipe caught my eye. When I read the ingredients and how simple the recipe is, I said to myself that this recipe is a keeper. I needed a recipe that I can put together and throw in the oven and this recipe is it. My gosh it looks so good. I'm sure my family will love it.

That is something different to use crackers in the breading. Thanks for the idea

Great receipe, I made it and used buttermilk in place of reg milk. I was crispy and perfect. Looked like I had worked all day. I just won't tell them how much time, I'll take free time anytime I can. LOL Once again Thanks for another dish to add to my receipe book.
