B2S - Safe Sporter Review

Kid Basix Logo

My children are the type of kids who prefer to buy lunch rather then bring it. After talking with my daughter she too has made the decision to buy lunch as well. Even so it's so warm down here year round we like to make sure - and the teachers recommended - sending in a bottle of water daily for the children to keep at their desk.

After a year of buying bottled water, freezing them and handing them off to each child before they left for school I knew there must be a better way; something more cost effective and better for the environment. The next year I purchased water bottles, some cracked, some leaked and none of them kept their water cold - and then there is always the fear in the back of my head about BPA plastics. One again, this year we were on the search for a better way.

Last month I was introduced to Kids Basix. Kid Basix, has started a revolution by rethinking the sippy cup and creating the Safe Sippy no-spill bottle from clean, non-leaching stainless steel - which is of course BPA free. From their Kid Basix continued to created and revolutionize embracing reusable, sustainable and easily recycled materials like stainless steel, and creating a entire line from baby bottles to water bottles Mom can feel good about and children love.

Kid Basix Safe Sporter Water Bottle

We were sent the Kid Basix Safe Sporter Water Bottle. The Safe Sporter features:
  • pull spout
  • mud cap
  • Wide mouth
  • TRP Sleeve
  • stainless steel vessel
  • plastic “coaster”
  • available in 12 or 16oz
  • 3 color choices

Why we love the Safe Sporter:

For one we can refill this bottle daily, saving money and the environment. Since it is quality stainless steel I don’t have to worry about it breaking or leaking and it keeps the drinks ice cold. My daughter loves it because, well, it’s pink and because she says it’s really cold.

Don’t forget Kid Basix isn’t just for school aged kids. They have a great line of bottles and sippy cups too!

This is great! My grandson will not buy lunches and takes his so this would be great to put with his lunches daily. You can tell by looking at it that this is made to keep for many years to come. Thanks for reviewing. Price isn't bad at all on these.
