Petite Me - Stylish Kids Attire Review & Giveaway

At this point I guess it's no real secret then I adore boutique style clothing, especially when it comes to the Princess. It's a combination between unique styles and the fact that most boutique style shops are run and designed by Moms, that I really love. I've shared with you in the past a few of my favorite "shops", but was recently introduced to a shop that soared to the top of my list, Petite Me.

Petite Me not only offers beautiful designs for girls, but I am loving their selection for the lil' Princes in our lives as well - it is so hard finding cute stuff for boys! 

Their collection ranges from newborn attire to 6X, making my boys a little too old, but my daughter just perfect for their collection. Usually, I can find a few things I like, mixed with a few pieces that aren't my style ( or better yet, a style I choose for my kids). I have to say, I was loving everything I saw on the Petite Me website. Since this will be Gianna's first year in school, I was looking for something cute she could wear home or to school and came across the Striped Denim Skirt Set.

It was perfect for a day out or a special occasion. I knew the skirt would go great with her school tops - the shirt that came with the set could easily be worn under her uniform tops. Fridays in school are "free days" where for one dollar, the children can wear what they would like, inside certain guidelines... This outfit met these guidelines and was just her style.

I had obviously planned to put this outfit aside for school, but it seemed to arrive just in time for a special outing we had planned. After trying it on her I could resist letting her wear at least once before school.

From top to bottom I was happy. The entire outfit was quality with little details like the bow and small flowers, adding that perfect touch.  The denim skirt features pink & white frill trim and gem snap closure. Another feature you don't really find in boutique style clothing is a sure-to-fit waistband. This skirt was fitted with a sure-2-fit waistband allowing me to give my daughter a custom fit look. She is in that stage were sets are hard to buy, as the right size top, usually means a bottom which is too big. This is where a sure fit adjustable waistband is a must.

Hand washing was recommended but you know me, always trying to take the easy way out.  I machine washed it separately on the gentle cycle and hung it to dry. It came out perfect, but please wash at your own discretion.
