Allie is an "Unregistered," a human trying to hide from the vampires who control her city and escape from the Rapids (a vampire/zombie combination), in a post apocalyptic world. Fighting for her gang and her survival anyway necessary, she is attacked by a by a group of Rabids and left for dead. Rescued by an enigmatic vampire, she is given a choice-become what she has hated and feared or die. She chooses immortality. Allie now faces an uncertain future where her survival depends on not being exposed for what she has become, a predator. During her travels she finds a group of humans trying to reach the mysterious city of Eden, a utopia free of vampires. She joins the band, not realizing they are hiding as many secrets as she.
I'm a sucker for a vampire novel. At the risk of sounding crazy ever since the "Lost Boys" I have been a fan of vampires and any material surrounding them. So of course I was quickly fascinated by the Immortal Rules. I don't do many book reviews because it takes a lot to hold my interest. However, I knew I could and would easily fall for this one!
The Immortal Rules ends in a cliff hanger, leaving the reader dangling. I had several unanswered questions and will be picking up a copy of the next book in the series when it becomes available.
Buy It: The Immortal Rules is available from Harlequin Teen for $18.99. Visit The Blood of Eden Website here. Connect with the author on twitter and facebook.
Win It: One lucky reader will win a copy of the Immortal Rules!

I am going to finish the Fallen series byLauren Kate. Then im not sure. There is so much I want to read.
There are so many books I'm looking forward to this summer! There's Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo being at the top of my list. It's already out, but I have it on my kindle waiting for me once I finish my current read, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. For later this summer, there's Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake, which is the sequel to the awesome book, Anna Dressed in Blood. There's also Defiance by C.J. Redwine, and Every Day, by David Levithan. Both look to be fantastic reads! Also, I'm using this summer to catch up on series I haven't gotten to yet, like The Mortal Instruments, and Unearthly. So much to read, so little time! :)
I will be reading 50 Shades of Grey this summer.
