Dremel Saw-Max Review & Giveaway

When all else fails I know can always fall back on power tools for Father's Day. My husband was in the carpentry industry for many years and has an abundance of tools. Over the years it's become increasingly hard to find a new tool he needs and can use. 

We have been dabbling in a lot of DIY projects on the weekend. A few weeks back we extended or garden and began placing new stones in the area. It came down to completing the edges when my husband pulled out his power saw to cut the proper sizes and realized it no longer worked. With that our project was put on hold...

When Dremel granted me a review, the first thing that came to mind was that broken power saw and my unfinished garden. Dremel is a leader in versatile tool systems and I knew my husband would be more then please with the Dremel Saw-Max™ SM20.

Dremel Saw-Max features:

The Saw-Max is very versatile and can be used to make cuts in a wide variety of materials including: wood, plastic, metal, fiberglass, drywall, sheet metal, wall and floor tile and brick, at 1/3 the size and weight of a circular saw. The saw came in a convenient hard storage case and included 4 blades. Being lighter weight and a bit easier to manage, my husband thought it was best suited for quick cuts, more a tool of convenience then real power. He was however more then willing to give it a shot cutting the garden brick. To his surprise it cut right through with the appropriate blade and we were able to place the final two bricks in, that had been missing. 

We were also sent a CD and additional do-it-yourself projects that the Dremel Saw-Max would come in handy for. We haven't had the tool for long, but as soon as my husband has a little extra time we would love to try and create the Rain Station.

I'm thinking this will be a perfect addition to our front room especially with the S.Florida rainy season upon us!
