AlleyOop Sports VariableBounce 14' Trampoline - Part 2

Last month I was fortunate enough to share with you my review of the JumpSports premier line AlleyOop Sports 14' VariableBounce Trampoline. In that review I went over setup, safety features and shared my kids first experiences bouncing on their new "toy."

My kids have been practicing their best moves and are still using the trampoline on a daily bases. They have been out of school for about a week and the trampoline has become a life saver when it comes to the "Mom, I'm bored" syndrome - I hope their enthusiasm last throughout the summer!

Since I went over safety and installation in my last review, this time I wanted to share a little more about what gives the AlleyOop Sports 14' VariableBounce Trampoline such a superior bounce and my youngest son also wants to show you what he learned to do!

As described by JumpSport, the patented VariableBounce™ technology is an elegantly simple innovation that helps optimize the shock absorption rate and the bounce performance of the trampoline. Really, it's all in the springs. When you jump a portion of the springs start to engage when you land, just a split second later the remaining springs engage. This is vital in providing a smooth landing and great bounce because it allows a jumper to absorb impact forces more slowly and gradually throughout the body, in return the jumper’s body absorbs less of the fall energy so the springs absorb more and this results in a better return bounce.

This spring action was very noticeable, especially if you add more then one jumper. When I bounce alone or with my son (in sync) I can catch some incredible air and don't feel constant strain on my knees. However, if you add multiple jumpers ( which isn't always best for safety reasons) the different jump patterns effect the spring action causing those out of sync minimal bounce and give a great deal of height to those who hit the mat at the right moment. To settle this between the kids, we like to play a good old fashion game of popcorn where my oldest son bounces everyone sitting in the middle all over the place - great family fun!

The AlleyOops Sports VariableBounce Trampoline was the perfect addition to our yard this summer. It provides fun for the whole family, something to do with friends and motivation to get outside and get active!

My youngest son has been enjoying teaching himself new tricks. He has been trying really hard to get Mommy to do a flip but, apparently, I am a big ol' chicken. Every time I go to try, I stop myself mid-air. Maybe one day I'll loosen up but for now I'm having fun just getting some exercise and watching what my kids can do - Oh, to be young again!

Buy It: You can purchase the AlleyOop Sports 14' VariableBounce Trampoline for $1399.99 The 2-Step ladder can be added for an additional $59.95 at JumpSport.com

My cousin has a trampoline and I have been trying to talk hubby into getting one for the kids. We have a huge backyard and it would be great family fun.

I love your photos! The kids look like they are having so much fun! I should add a trampoline to my backyard. We'd have a full carnival then :)

I remember one summer when I was growing up the neighbors had a trampoline. There was always a waiting line to get on.
Great workout for you and your kids.
