Potty Training comes with a great sense of accomplishment when your through, but at the start it can be quite frustrating and even a bit messy. Obviously "big potties" are not only hard for you child to climb onto alone, but, the seat is too big as well. My biggest frustration though, was always that training potties were so darn messy, I felt I couldn't win with either option.
Those fancy training potties might get your child's attention at first but when your disassembling it for cleaning multiple times a day, it becomes quite a chore. On top of that what about emptying the potty? You always get the drips down the side of the potty, or in my case, I always manged to pour it onto the big potty making for two cleanups. After I was through dumping and cleaning the inner portion of the potty I would then head to the tub to clean the remaining pieces of the potty - my kids were messy at the start of training!
So what If I told you there was an award winning, single piece training potty, with a wide spout for dumping? The Pourty Potty is just that!
From my initial look at this new potty I thought it was a great idea, but still wondered how it well it would work containing urine as a child goes. What make the Pourty Potty so unique is the fact that this all plastic one piece potty dumps from the rear, so you still get the benefit of a splash guard suitable for both boys and girls in the front. Not only is this more hygienic, but it still offers enough room for you child to sit comfortably without the worry of pee escaping the front and over the side.
The Pourty Potty is available in fun colors for both boys and girls, and still manages a stylish look. In this Moms opinion the quality, ease of use, and hygienic factor for a low price make this a top choice in potty training must haves, suitable for ages 12mth to 3.5 years.
** I just had a facebook fan suggest that these are also great for the car. I'm sure most Mom's have been in that emergency situation and although it didn't immediately pop into my head, she is right! The Pourty Potty is also great for travel since it is so light weight and just a single piece - and by travel I mean those side of the road emergencies as too ;-)
