Pampering Dad at our house is like other special days, the celebrated person doesn't have to do ANYTHING all day! No chores at all! Starts with breakfast by kids (egg shells and all...haha), then usually we go fishing, cook out for Dad later, and then gift him a few things he might have been wanting or something he can use...mostly fishing lures or outdoor clothing or a new dress shirt. He works as a computer software guy and loves researching new technology, so he'd love anything techy also. thanks!

Thanks much!
Easy. He just wants a good meal and to spend time with his family. annc999 at yahoo

We let him relax and prepare all of his favorite meals!
Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and a cold beer. Plus a free day from yard work!
A good massage and his fave meal.

My way of pampering my husband and father is letting them do whatever they want, which on that day means softball and a cookout and beer!
Pampering dad around here is letting him sleep in and making him a big breakfast that includes bacon (he rarely gets that and LOVES it!).

Letting him have a "his choice" day, where we watch what he wants on TV, whatever he wants for dinner and wherever he wants to go for the day.
I let my husband do whatever he wants that day.
I don't ask my dad to be my master fix it on fathers day

We make his favorite food, and just let him do 'nothing' all day.
No extra money so no super nice meal or presents but will make him homemade cards and hopefully he'll get to watch geeky stuff all day though he is on tech support this month so will probably have to work.
Letting him relax and doing whatever he wants that day!
Breakfast in bed and I take the garbage out that day!

This Father's Day I am taking hubby down to the beach for a week for some R&R and he has been wanting to get out of dodge for months so going to surprise him and while there...he will be going parasailing as an extra treat
Grilling a steak out for him and ending the night with a relaxing back rub+.
We just let him decide what to do for the day, which usually involves boating as long as the weather cooperates!

just let him relax
Do all his chores and let him do his own favorite things. Thanks!
I'm getting him a 6 pack of his favorite beer and we will just relax around the house with the kids. Our weekends are usually so busy that he looks forward to the days we do nothing but hang out.
It's pretty easy, he likes to do his usual Sunday thing: play golf in the morning, come home and watch the game on TV, go for a run, have dinner with the family, and watch more baseball or the History Channel.
It's pretty easy at our house. We just celebrate with a nice meal of his choice while he relaxes that day. :-)

lots of yummy food
He doesn't have to worry about a honey do list. I usually make him a steak and baked potato for dinner and all he has to do is eat and relax!
Start with serving him coffee and his favorite double chocolate donuts in bed. Then go to church and out to eat at a place of his choice. After we go home so we can but his feet up and watch TV.

Usually our family goes over to my dad's and we grill out but on occasion, when the weather is nice, he goes fishing for a few hours. Karen, kjsbristol at comcast dot net

We let Dad play his video games all day

Since my dad is no longer with me for my husband the kids and I cook him dinner of his choice and I do his Sunday dishes.
I plan to buy the biggest and juiciest steaks for him to grill, he will be so happy to cook up the good stuff! Also, I will make sure he relaxes all weekend!
My husband loves back massages so we all take turns (the girls and I) massaging his back!!
My hubby gets spoiled by three kiddos and foot massages:)
For my husband it would be cooking him some of his favorite foods, giving him a back, neck or feet massage and maybe run a bath for him to relax in. =)
Hannah Pitts
The day would start with a nice cup of coffee early in the morning, followed by breakfast (bacon, bacon and more bacon). Some golf with the boys and probably cigars afterwards....while mommy and boys stay home!
sofiabyrd(at)gmail(dot)com
we go to dads house and bring all the food for a great bbq, my dad loves to man the grill so we just supply the food and enjoy!

My 2 grown kids bought their Dad a new recliner that they will set up & remove his old, worn out one on Sunday morning to start off Father's Day. Our granddaughter made a special drawing to give him that shows her fishing with him. He can relax and enjoy the delicious BBQ that my son-in-law will be in charge of. Spending this special day with his family means everything to him.
