Technology gets more amazing by the day. I remember being maybe 7 or 8 and watching 3D "smell"vision weekend, where Revenge of The Nerds and a few other popular shows at the time were being featured in the 80's version of 3D. In order to participate you had to head to your local 7-11 and pick up some scratch and sniff cards along with paper 3-D glasses.
Those paper glasses and once in a blue moon 3D thrills are something my kids know nothing about. Now our T.V is equipped with 3D movies and shows on a regular bases and even their video games are in 3D. When we purchase the T.V it certainly didn't come with those paper 3D glasses of the past, but still their plastic version wasn't much better. The glasses didn't fit right, let light in from the sides, and really didn't do much else but give me a headache.
With each added technology opens up a whole new market, like that of EX3D glasses. Marchon3D created this new line of passive 3D glasses called EX3D. The line includes fashion and casual styles of 3D glasses designed for the very best 3D viewing experience. The EX3D line is affordable, fashionable and armed with the power of Marchon3D’s patented M3D® curved-lens technology, a lens that is optically contoured for optimal 3D viewing. This are certainly not your run of the mill 3D glasses. The glasses are RealD® certified and compatible with most passive 3D technologies including 3D televisions, computers and gaming systems.
I love the fact that you can choose a style that makes you feel comfortable and not only do they have adult size glasses, but they also have a kids line for your younger viewers. It was so nice to actually watch a movie without the distraction of light shining through the sides of my glasses or catching a reflection out of the corner of my eye. The EX3D glasses, looked stylish but even more importantly, the curved lens and snug fit keep my eyes on the screen and actually allowed me a true 3D experience.
The glasses came in a great case allowing me to toss them in my bag for trips to the movies - I just never trust the ones worn by EVERYONE! I find it so much more sanitary to tote along my own set for myself and the kids. Plus, once again you get a better viewing experience.
So what makes these glasses better then those of the theater? I mean besides the fact that they have only been worn by you or a loved one....
EX3D glasses feature Marchon3D’s premier M3D lens technology, the most advanced 3D lens on the market. The M3D patented, circular polarized lenses are curved and, along with a more comfortable, stylish frame, creates a superior 3D viewing experience than generic flat lenses. The M3D curved lenses:
- Cause less eyestrain than flat lenses because curved lenses reduce distracting reflections and light contamination from lens surfaces
- Provide a wider field of peripheral viewing and,
- Enable more comfortable, better fitting eyewear for long wearing use
Additionally, EX3D glasses allows the viewer to tilt his or her head without the loss of 3D perception.
