Beyond Coastal Natural Sun Care & More ( Review & Giveaway)

The weather is nice here year round. We love to take trips to the beach on the weekends, let the kids run themselves tired at the park or simply sit on the porch and soak in the warmth and sunshine. Those are all positives of now living in sunny Florida, the negatives would be our fair skin which was much more suitable for living in New York.

Sun damage is always a constant concern, as it should be for all, whether you tan or burn. I went out a few weekends back to do some yard work, not thinking I would be out long enough to require the use of sun block - boy, was I wrong. In just a half hour I was beyond burnt, in terrible pain and had intense itching which kept awake for 48hrs straight.

Although, I am a strong believer in keeping your skin protected, I always wonder about what goes into that bottle of sunscreen and was thrilled to learn of a more natural brand, Beyond Coastal.

 I had the chance to check out a few of Beyond Coastal Sun Care products. This passed week we have spent a great deal of time outdoors, which gave me the perfect opportunity to try these products.

I really liked the Natural Sunscreen for Kids 30+. It provides all the great protection you expect; complete UVA/UVB protection along with antioxidants such as green tea and grape seed, soothing Aloe and Jojoba and all in a gluten free, biodegradable formula. It is water proof, non-irritating and sting free to the eyes. The kids loved the no greasy feel and that it rubbed in completely -They hate when I send them off, all streaked with white marks.

I enjoyed the ease of the facestick as well as the moisturizing SPF 15 lip balm. What was also really nice was the fact I wasn't left with that sticky greasy feeling. Beyond Coastal feels thick, but goes on clean. I really didn't feel like I had applied any cream or lotion once I rubbed it in. It also doesn't have the odd sunscreen smell.
