Some Easter Elf Magic

Some of you might remember a special guest we welcomed into our home this past holiday season, our Elf Magic, Elf, whom we call Kat.
Kat came to visit through the season and returned home to the North Pole on Christmas Eve, hitching a ride with Santa. While she was here she brought so much wonder and fun, not just for my daughter, but, for the whole family.

You see she was filled with magic and pranks galore. At night we would sprinkle her with her special elf magic snowflakes and while we were asleep she would do the craziest things. One morning we found her and our stuffed Santa swinging from the chandelier! I can’t imagine how she got him up there.

Well things have been a bit boring since Kat left and my daughter frequently asks for her. Easter morning brought with it quite a surprise beside the normal basket and goodies left about, my daughter got a real shock seeing Kat sitting in her basket as well.

Kat came to visit for just one day, but brought back with her all of her magical play and so my daughter didn’t find herself loney once again, a gift of a picture frame along with a bracelet and necklace set ( a set , for my daughter and one for Kat) were left by Kat as well. We were also surprised to see that Kat had shed her winter attire and was looking ready for spring in her Cookies and Cream Dress.

Our Elf Magic Elf spent the day celebrating Easter with us. I was so wrapped up in my “duties” for the day I was horrible at capturing many memories on film. My daughter however was not going to give up until I got a shot of her and Kat for her new frame. We took about 30 photos – I kid you not – and this is the one Gia asked me to print out and place in her frame.

Kat returned home Easter night, but I let my daughter know she will be back and if she is good, I'm sure Kat can make it to see her off on her first day of school. Until then, she has her photo and special frame sitting upon her dresser to remember her special day, with her special friend.

She also kept with her, her bracelet and necklace and wears them everywhere!!

Here you can see her munching on her necklace and sporting her bracelet
