I have to thank a fellow blogger Pam over at Just Like June for letting me in on a little tip I didn't know - your pet can become immune to their current flea and tick medication! I had no clue. After a quick follow up with my Vet I came to find out she indeed was correct. Well, sheesh why didn't he tell me that. Although I must admit I was happy with my current choice, my dog has been using it for quite sometime and I figured it was time to find a new brand I could trust just as much.
As you might know fleas can be quite bothersome and sometimes even dangerous for both humans and pets. Problems caused by fleas may range from mild to severe itching and discomfort to skin problems and infection, including tapeworm. An offer from Adams Flea & Tick Spot On Dogs with Smart Shield Applicator to test out their product, couldn't have come at a better time.
Adams Spot On for Dogs starts working in just 15 minutes to kill fleas, ticks,
flea eggs and flea larvae. This fast-acting flea control treatment also kills
and repels against mosquitoes. The topical treatment lasts for 30 days and should continue to be used to ensure complete protection for your pet. With the summer months upon us ( well here in S. Florida at least) my dog often finds himself taking a dip in the pool, so a water resistant brand is always a must for me, which Adams is.
The Smart Shield Applicator is also a big bonus and is so simple to use. It is specially designed to make applying flea and tick
control easier and more precise than ever before. You simply insert the tube into
the applicator, close it and squeeze to apply. The applicator's contoured shape
makes it easy to grip and the built-in tip helps spread the dog's hair, allowing
the liquid to reach the dog's skin. When you insert a sealed tube into the applicator and press close the applicator does the work of snapping open the tube leaving your hand free from a mess!
Buy It: Adams Spot On With Smart Shield Applicator is available for both dogs and cats at your local PetSmart and Petco stores as well as online

Thank you for the mention but you had to follow up at the vet to be sure???? :) I use several different types now. Frontline, Advantage, and more.
I USUALLY BUY ADVANTAGE! THANKS FOR THE CHANCE!
@Pam - LOL.. Hey you can't blame a girl for wanting to be sure ;-) I still love ya, I just like to check my facts
just whateever is on sale :)
I have Frontline right now but I am not sure how well it will do this year since my vet says the ticks this year are going to be bad due to the warm winter we had.
I with eclairre and buy what's on sale though usually Adams is cheapest (and my daughter gets a kick out of the fact it's our last name too)
We've been pretty lax about doing this so far this year, but it's mostly because Frontline is so expensive. I have 2 standard poodles who would probably be very grateful to have this help protect them.

The hubby uses another armor brand, but I don't think the dog likes it, he mopes around the house when he gets it monthly. Something new would be good.

Knock on wood........ We haven't had any problems with either fleas or ticks.
We have 2 dogs and 5 cats. All are inside pets and only the dogs go outside, for walks and to go potty-potty (what we say to them to get them to potty).
We live in the country surrounded by fields and trees we have deer and coyotes and bunnies and skunks and other wildlife all around
We had a very mild winters the past few years and the insect population has grown so we just might have a problem with the fleas and ticks this year.
None currently.
I currently use Frontline. Rafflecopter name is Heather S
My dogs use Frontline. tylerpants(at)gmail.com
